The count circle includes Patagonia, AZ and vicinity. The Patagonia count is usually one of the top three species-wise in the nation and it didn't disappoint in 2022 with a tie for the number one spot with Gilpin, CO at 80 species. Patagonia also had the high counts for 16 species including the all-time high count for the Painted Crescent (46 individuals with the previous high count being 30) and recording the only Slaty Roadside-Skippers (2 individuals).
